Terms of Service

Last updated: Feb 19, 2026

These Terms govern use of the FamilyRhythm website and product.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Purpose of the Service

FamilyRhythm provides tools for parents and guardians to structure household tasks, responsibility systems, and allowances.

The product is infrastructure. It is not advice, counseling, or financial planning.

You remain responsible for how the system is used inside your household.

2. Eligibility

Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian.

Children may use the system only under the supervision and control of a parent account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep login credentials secure
  • Use the service for lawful purposes
  • Supervise minor access within your household

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription:

  • You agree to the pricing shown at the time of purchase
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
  • You may cancel at any time
  • Access continues through the end of the billing period

We reserve the right to change pricing in the future. If pricing changes, you will receive advance notice before renewal.

Founding Member Pricing: The first 500 families who subscribe receive Founding Member pricing at $90/year. This rate is locked in for as long as you maintain an active subscription. Founding Member status is not transferable and does not carry over after cancellation. If a Founding Member cancels and later reactivates, standard pricing applies at the time of reactivation.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Attempt to disrupt or overload the service
  • Access accounts that are not yours
  • Reverse engineer or copy core system functionality
  • Use the platform for unlawful activity

The goal is stability. Use the system as intended.

6. Data and Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you enter into the system.

We store and process that content solely to operate the service.

We do not claim ownership of your household data.

If you close your account, data will be deleted within a reasonable period unless legally required to retain it.

7. Service Availability

We aim for reliability.

However, the service is provided as is.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features over time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

FamilyRhythm is not liable for:

  • Household disputes
  • Financial decisions
  • Parenting outcomes
  • Indirect or consequential damages

The system supports structure. It does not control outcomes.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You may close your account at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms over time.

If material changes are made, we will provide reasonable notice.

Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
